We're just back from a fantastic trip to Belgium where some of us not only completed the 100km van Ieper, but in fact an incredible 115km over the 3-day event. It was a great weekend away, our Belgian hosts were fantastic as always (thanks Thierry & co.!), and we proved tougher than the navy girls who ended up sleeping in the toilets to avoid the cold of the tents - no such behaviour from the Walking Club! Next year's trip will be at the beginning of June after all the exams are out of the way, so hopefully we'll be taking a far bigger group!

IMPORTANT! Time is running out to get your name down for the final trip of the year to Scotland for the Spring Bank Holiday (28th-31st May). We'll be staying in Glen Coe in the Highlands, a prime location for some fab hiking and the ascent of Ben Nevis for those who wish. This 3 day trip costs a mere £70, and there are only limited places left so make sure you contact the committee NOW if you want to go! If anyone has signed up and not paid you also need to contact the committee to arrange payment as soon as possible or risk losing your place to somebody with the cash - this trip will be full! It's going to be a great finale to the year!

Good luck with exams / assignments and see you in Scotland!
